I would like that they apply that to the Occult's genetics Because the Hybrids always seemed to me a wasted potential throughout the saga. Something that I liked was the inclusion of "genetic traits" that are generated from the offspring of a certain "Special Sims", such as the Sulani Mana and Father Winter's babies. Making needlessly the Mermaids a weird outlier between the lastest occults). But literally it's already a missed opportunity for all those that were before (Especialy the Mermaids, which I can't explain why they didn't have a Skill Tree since the developers at that point should already have planned the Spellcasters, wich share the mechanic of the Vampires. I believe that all the Occult in one way or another should have a skill tree It seems the developers finally got it with the Spellcasters. Not to mention the pointless temporary Plant Sims or the waste of time that those generic Jungle Skeletons were. It's Life State doesn't significantly affect the Gameplay in any way. But until the the moment the only decent Occult are the Vampires.Īliens and Mermaid barely have any extra interaction and are essentially normal Sims (Except maybe Mermaids having the need for Hydration). I mean, not only are there very few Life States/Occult for how advanced the game is (It has already been half a decade since The Sims 4 was relased and I don't think it has much more than two years left to live).
